DEATH--Services for Don PIERCE, who died early Saturday morning at his home in the Cypress community were held at the Cypress Methodist Church, Burial in Cypress Cemetery. He was 71. He was a lifelong resident of Crockett County, and was a farmer. He was married to Miss Rosa BOYD in 1898, they observed their 50th wedding anniversary in December. He also leaves two daughters, Mrs. R. A. CROSSNOE and Mrs. Paul EDWARDS; one brother, Jim PIERCE; and a sister in Texas.
