Ernest Beaver

Funeral services were held at the Curry Funeral Home in Dyersburg Tuesday afternoon for Ernest Beaver of Chicago, Ill., who died at his home Saturday night of a heart attack. Mr. Beaver was 70 and is very well known in this community, having lived here in his youth. For several years he was employed at Globe Clothing Co., in Dyersburg and from there he went to Memphis and was a salesman in the clothing department at Brys. Later he moved to Chicago where he was a shoe salesman and did war work until a short time before his death. He is a brother of Mrs. R. E. Parker and was a frequent visitor here. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and active in all church and community affairs.
