I, Mrs. J. E. Trull of said State and County, desiring to avail herself of the Pension allowed to Indigent Widows of Soldiers, under Act of General Assembly, approved April, 1905, being Chapter 202 of the Acts of 1905; Chapter 103, Acts of 1909; and Chapter 7, Acts of 1911, hereby submits her proofs, and after begin duly sworn true answers to make to the following questions, deposes and answers as follows:

1. What is your full name and where do you reside? (Give State, County and Postoffice.)
ANSWER: Mrs. J. E. Trull, Crockett Mills, Crockett Co. Tennessee

2. How long and since when have you been a resident of this State?
ANSWER: A native of Tenn & always lived in the state

3. When and where were you born and what was your maiden name?
ANSWER: Leona Eveline Colvett. Born in Carroll Co. Tenn. Aug. 9th 1866

4. When and where was your husband born -- state his full name, and when and where were you and he married, and who performed the marriage ceremony? (Attach certified copy marriage license in every case.)
ANSWER: J. E. Trull Born in Ala. in 1847. Married in Crockett Co. Tenn. Sept. 24th 1885 ceremony performed by J. T. Stamps J.P.

5. When and where and in what Company and Regiment did you husband enlist or serve during the war between the States?

7. When and where did your husband's Company and Regiment surrender?

13. At the time of your husband's death, were you living with him as his lawful wife?
ANSWER: Yes

14. Have you married since the death of your soldier husband?
ANSWER: No

15. How many children did you have by your said husband? Give sex and age at this time.
ANSWER: Ten. 5 Girls & 5 Boys (one girl & one boy dead) Age of girls living 38 - 28 - 23 - 20. Age of boys 40 - 36 - 30 - 17.

16. What property, real or personal, or income do you have or possess, and its gross value?
ANSWER: Nothing but a little household good (about $200.00 worth)

17. What property, real or personal, did you possess at death of husband or did he leave you, and what disposition, if any, by sale or gift, have you made of the same?
ANSWER: None. He left no property except the small house hold good as stated above.

18. Have you a family? If so, who composes such family? Give their means of support? Have they any lands or other property?
ANSWER: One afflicted boy 17 yrs old. Two daughters 20 & 23. No means of support except work on rented farm. The boy cannot work at all.

19. Name some friend, giving his name and postoffice address, who will be willing to have us write to him about your case, if neccessary
ANSWER: J. C. Hamlett, Crockett Mills, Tenn.

2. Are you acquainted with the applicant, Mrs. J. E. Trull, Yes
If so, how long have you known her?
ANSWER: 25 years

3. Where does she reside, and how long and since when has she been a resident of this State?
ANSWER: Native of State lived here ever since I've known her.

4. When and where was she born?
ANSWER: Carroll Co. Tenn

5. Were you ever acquainted with her husband?
ANSWER: Yes

6. When and by whom were they married?
ANSWER: Records show by J. F. Stamps in 1885

7. Were either or both of you present at the marriage?
ANSWER: No

My Mother Mrs. Leona F. Truill, Aged 92 Years Passed Away Feb. 29, 1959. She was Geting a Confederate Veteran Widow Pension Check. I have returned it to you, that is the Postmaster did. I had Quite an expense on Doctor Bill And Burial of Mother and Wish you would Let me Have the last check to help pay these Bills. If is is lawful for you to do so it would be greatly Appreciated If You will. My mother has lived in My Home for passed several years and was living with me when she passed away.
