| Morris Raymond King initially served as Gunner’s Mate Second Class on LST in Pacific AO. He then served in the Mediterranean just before D-Day, shuttling supplies & equipment. He returned to the Pacific and was in Tokyo Bay awaiting the pending invasion of Japan when the atomic bomb was dropped that brought about the end of World War II. |
