Dear Sir:-

Mother Nancy A. Lovelace 78 years old widow of Simon Lovelace who was wounded in the confederate army, and who died from his wound. Is not receiving her pension.

The state of Tennessee granted this widow a pension which she has been receiving at Chustnut Bluff, Crocket County, Tennessee. She receoved her last pension from this state about six months ago.

She informs me that through mistake a notary who sent the Blank in for her to receive this pension either missplaced them or sent them in with her other papers. Therefore she has not been able to send in any voucher or any way to get said pension whcih is due her.

Se is over at Blytheville, Arkansas visiting her son, J. H. Lovelace.

Please look after this matter for me, and send me blanks and information, so I can proceed to get this widow's pension for her.

Yours very truly,
