This is the John Robert Boals family. My grandmother was a cousin to Carrie Boals. The folks in this photo are: l.to.r. Nettie, John Bunlow (Bunk), James (Jim), William (Will), Robert (Bud), Mary Helen (Aunt Sis Mobley). The parents are John Robert Boals and Mary Elizabeth Helen Jones Boals. This couple married in 1856. These boys look to be in their 20's. So I suppose the photo probably dates around 1880's. |
