Phoebe Baxter Tombstone

Found tombstone - and footstone with P. B. on it - leaning against a cedar tree in the back yard
of the old Lem Humphrey homeplace at the corner of Hwy 79 and Simmons Rd:

Phoebe
Consort of James Baxter
Died
April 7, 1849
Aged 47 years

This is located about a mile south of the Todd and Humphrey cemeteries.

The people who live at the old homeplace said that James Baxter was buried here also.
(His second wife, Margaret E. Humphreys, is buried in the Todd Cemetery.)
