Crockett Co., TN |
This is an abandoned African American cemetery, located beside a field road, .4 miles north (right) from
Colvett Rd. which at this point is about 1.8 miles to Hwy. 152
Thanks also to Kim Raines and her Father, Dewayne Harden, who took photos of the Avery Cemetery
and of the tombstones in July, 2002.
When Kim and Dewayne visited the cemetery, there was a stone that had fallen face down, and it could not be turned over.
Another stone, for B. P. W., seems to have fallen and broken, and it is probably under a tree.
