Tue Sep 16 05:51:12 1997 Am searching for information on my ggrandparents, John Wesley FURGERSON (FERGUSON, FURGUSON, FERGERSON, ETC.) AND Mahuldia (BRUCE) FURGERSON. According to my information, they were both born in Tennessee, as were their parents. They were apparently living in Tennessee at the birth of their first child, Nancy Jane FURGERSON IN 1840. Their 4th child, John Wesley FURGERSON, JR. was born there in 1851. Between then and 1854 they moved to Hopkins County, KY where their 5th child was born, and they lived in that area until their deaths in 1895 and 1901. Census records indicate that there were Fergusons living in Carroll County in 1830 and 1840. I am wondering whether our John might have been born in that area. Any information would be greatly appreciated.Ray Campton
