BASIL ALEXANDER ROGERS b. Jan. 17, 1849 Carroll Co. TN  d. Unknown probably in AR. 
BASIL ALEXANDER ROGERS  moved with his parents, GREEN D. BERRY ROGERS and SIDY FIELDS to BOONE CO. AR we believe by Dec. 1870 when they then purchased land there from the LEEPER family.    Basil Alexander  Rogers was the first born of Green Berry and Sidy and thus named for both sets of his grandfathers, BASIL ROGERS b. 1794 NC and ALEXANDER FIELDS b. abt. 1808 NC.     Basil Alexander Rogers md. Sarah Isabelle GILMORE in Boone Co. AR on June 27, 1872 shortly after his arrival in AR.   They had 11 children who are shown in this photo with their mother, seated in the middle, but Basil Alexander Rogers is absent from this photo, and is believed to have been deceased by then.    The members of this family moved from Boone Co. AR into OK and KS and yet further west into other states of WASHINGTON and etc.   This is a family of many looks, both blondes and brunettes and is typical of our Boone Co. AR Rogers lines in all 3 brothers families ( GREEN D. BERRY ROGERS b. 1825 Carroll Co. TN, JAMES FRANKLIN ROGERS b. 1831 Carroll Co.TN and BASIL JASPER ROGERS b. 1830 Carroll Co.
