Neely, and William Horton, Commissioners of and for the Town of Huntingdon, in the county of Carroll, and State of Tennessee of the one part, and Edward Gwin of the aforesaid State and County of the Other part witnesseth, that the said Commissioners aforesaid for and in consideration of this sum of One hundred and twenty Six dollars, to them by the said Edward Gwin in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath bargain Sold conveyed and Confirmed to the said Edward Gwin and his heirs and by these presents doth grant bargain Sell convey and confirm to the said Edward Gwin and his heirs for ever two certain Town lots or parcels of land being and lying in the Town of Huntingdon and County aforesaid designated known and described in the plan of said Town by lots No. nineteen and No. thirty eight in aforesaid Town lots or parcels of land according to their lines and boundries as designated and described in the plan of said Town with all the heredetriments right Title Claim and interest in and to the same belonging or appertaining to have and to hold to him the said Edw ard Gwin and his heirs for ever and the said Commissioners for themselves and their successors in office covenant and agree to and with the said Edward Gwin his heirs executors & the Title to the lots aforesaid as Commissioners for ever to Warrant and defend against the Claim or Claims of any other person or persons. Neely and William Horton Commissioners of the Town of Huntingdon to Edward Gwin for Two Town lots, Nos. 19 and 38, was this day produced in open Court and the execution thereof duly acknowledged by the said Commissioners to be their act and deed and ordered to be certified for registration.
