Tucker Cemetery
Westport, Tennessee
This cemetery is located on Tucker Cemetery Lane about a mile west of Westport off the Westport - Clarksburg Road. The lane is well marked and, although it appears to be the drive to the old home place of Raymond Leslie, it passes by the front of the house and on to the edge of a field about a quarter of a mile north. This a very old cemetery but there have been a few burials in the past decade. This record was made on March 2, 2002.

{Two areas here are surrounded by wrought iron picket fences. One has a very large obelisk marker which has broken into pieces and is not readable. The obelisk has a symbol of an upward pointing hand. A footstone in this enclosure reads "L. L." Since the graves in the second enclosure are Alexander Lorance and wife, I would venture that this is a Lorance gravesite also.}
