HISTORY : Gwin family resided in Huntingdon, Tennessee during the early part of the 1820's to the late 1870's. Edward Gwin was the first Carroll County Clerk from 1822 to 1836. Robert D. Gwin was a medical doctor from McKenzie, Tennessee following the conclusion of the American Civil War.
