Bulk of the material falls within the 1960's and 1970's. Includes information on the organization's activities during and soon following the tornado of 1971.
HISTORY :	The Carroll County Red Cross was founded in June of 1917 by the wives of World War I servicemen over seas. An official chapter for the county was formed on February 4, 1931. Since that date the volunteer organization has operated to provide assistance to local citizens following natural disasters and furnishing services commonly associated with the International Red Cross.
