BRUMMITT FUNERAL HOME - McKENZIE, TENNESSEE

In 1945 Jack Brummitt purchased the Penick Funeral Home, changed the name to Penick-Brummitt Funeral Home for a brief period, and renamed it Brummitt Funeral Home as it remains today. The seven books of the Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie, Tennessee, housed at the Brummitt Funeral Home in McKenzie, contain records of 3,899 burials from 1945 through 1995. After the retirement and recent death of Mr. Brummitt, the business is owned and continues to be run by the Brummitt family.
